Research Lab Work (RLW)
The objective of the RLW is to train in research in assuring research by being immersed in a host laboratory.
1 RLW Description
A research topic is proposed by a researcher supervising the student. The student will have to carry out various activities related to research: bibliographic study, theoretical study, modeling, simulations, characterization, ..

2 RLW Organization
2.1 RLW topics: presentation and assignments
Several research topics is proposed at the beginning of the school year:
In order to assign in the subjects to the students in the best way, students will have to:
- Select 3 subjects among the list of research topics
- Contact the supervisors of these 3 subjects in order to inform these researchers about your interest (send them an e-mail with your motivations + CV ).
- Indicate to the RLW responsible by e-mail the 3 selected subjects and your order of preference by Oct. 3rd
Then, student and supervisors will be informed about the assignment of the research topic / student by the end of Sept/early Otcober.
2.2 Administrative Protocol
An agreement has to be established and signed jointly by the hosting laboratory and Phitem. Contact the RLW responsible to validate this step.
2.3 Research work
Once the agreement is done, the research Lab Work will take place in the host laboratory
every Tuesday, from the October, 15th 2024 to January, 14th 2025
3 Student Evaluation
3.1 Oral evaluation
20min presentation, 20min question, 10min deliberation

Deadline: January 21th, 2025
3.3 Scientific article
Student have to produce a scientific article of 4 pages based on the results that he/she will have obtained during his/her RLW. This scientific article should include an abstract, an introduction, the content with several sections (i.e. Theory, Simulation…), a conclusion, and the references.
