"Active Faults and Remote Sensing" web site
Subject: Major active faults at the origin of potentially large earthquakes.
Objectives: Understanding their past history, their behavior during an earthquake, over one seismic cycle or several cumulated seismic cycles, and their role in the landscape and mountain building.
Tools: Various tools, techniques and observations in tectonics, geology and geophysics (geodesy, remote sensing, seismology) and making links with numerical and laboratory modelling approaches.
Students: Master Sciences de la Terre, des Planètes et de l'Environnement (STPE),
Involved Teachers: Anne Socquet, James Hollingsworth, Mathilde Radiguet, Fabien Albino
